The Worcester Railers earned an important six points in a sweep of a three-in-three weekend at the DCU Center this weekend. The Railers are now tied with the Brampton Beast with 41 points in the ECHL’s North Division .
The Railers opened the weekend beating the Quad City Mallards 5-2 on Friday night. The two teams met again on Saturday night and the result and score was the same.

The team also celebrated the weekend on twitter, thanking fans, and touting the big crowds the Railers drew over the three game span. Twenty home games into their inaugural season, Worcester has drawn more than 88-thousand fans, for an average of just more than 44-hundred per game.

The team still has five more games at the DCU Center as part of a season-high 11-game home stand. Worcester next hosts Adirondack on Friday night at 7:05pm.
