Tai chi is a graceful branch of Kung Fu that focuses on releasing stress and is known as “meditation in motion”. It is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced through slow, fluid movements.
Leader’s Way Kung Fu Academy, located at 487 Burncoat Street in Worcester, Massachusetts is now offering classes in Tai Chi every Tuesday night from 6:30-7:30 PM, with the first class being free.
With the amount of stress college students face today, Tai chi is a great way to relax on a weeknight in between class and homework sessions. According to Mayo Clinic “Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels”.
